WELCOME TO THE GREAT TERRACE CAFÉ LOLITA PLUMA- This place is named after the most popular character in the city of Las Palmas G.C , Lolita Pluma (1904-1987), as a homage. Next to the door, there is a painting on the wall showing a portrait of her. She was a lady who spent all her time in the Parque Santa Catalina, feeding her street cats and selling chewing gum to tourists, who were taking pictures of her at all times because of her behavior, the extravagant way she dressed up, and her peculiar make up. She, who brought the life and joy to the park, will always be in our memories. We are in the centrical Parque Santa Catalina, named after the ancient hermitage which was mentioned in a song in this very place. Near the park, there is Las Canteras Beach. Las Canteras got its name because it was a reef quarry from where the construction material for houses and washing fonts was obtained. We have to highlight the quality of its waters and sand, which was worth the granting of the blue flag from the EEC. In front of the park, we have the third port in importance in Spain, the Puerto de la Luz and the new mall El Muelle. If you want to visit the south of the island (Playa del Inglés-Maspalomas) you can take the bus at the "intercambiador" (The underground Bus Station located underneath the park). It is very important for our staff to offer you a good service and provide you with quality products. Our waiters are willing to help you in anything you may need in different languages: Spanish, English, German, and Dutch. It is also very important to help us keep our terrace clean. -Do not use our flowerpots and gardens to litter. We have ashtrays on the tables for your cigarettes. THANK YOU FOR HELPING US!
